Private to the Marauders
James left early this morning for his mission. Did he tell any of you where he was going? I don't like the fact that he's completely alone without anyone there to cover his back in case something goes wrong though. Feel free to come by anytime - the house is eerily quiet without him going on about mislabeled products and ice whiskey.

I think I should write my sister a letter. Though I would obviously have to send it to her the muggle way so she doesn't freak out when an owl lands on her breakfast table.

	That's all I got from him too. Things are really quiet here. I'm almost tempted to go out and get a pet just to have someone to talk to and sleep with. If you stop by, I promise to make sandwiches. I wish I could provide you with some sort of helpful answer. Unfortunately, I'm just as in the dark as you. I do wish he had been able to go with someone, though going alone does have strategic advantages. I'm fully confident that James will be able to accomplish anything he sets out to do. He'll be back home driving you up the wall in no time, I'm certain of it.

Perhaps we could all have dinner one night? Of course, I wouldn't want to put the stress of making a meal big enough to fill Sirius' stomach all on you so mabe we could all pitch in and make part of the meal.

	I love you. I`ll send news as much as I can. And don`t worry, I can take very good care of myself! Except for the part when I don`t listen to you about bringing an extra jacket and freez to death...that`s always a problem. Oh, and no, I really don`t think you should write your sister a letter.
