I can't believe I've failed to use these journal things as a means of announcing things like the upcoming Prefects meeting. So, all prefects, there will be a meeting this Thursday in our usual classroom. We'll be discussing the upcoming Hogsmeade trip on 9 February and our plans for Valentines Day. James and I have come up with several ideas for what we can do on Valentines Day and we're excited to discuss them with you. Hopefully there won't be too much pink floating around the castle.

There, now that that announcement is made, I shouldn't have to hunt everyone down and tell them personally. There are signs in the common rooms, but I have a sneaking suspicion that not everyone sees them there anyway. Ours is always covered up by Quidditch announcements and other less important announcements.
